Father Cesar C. Pajarillo,
Jr. is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Rockford (Illinois), an ecclesiastical jurisdiction that
covers eleven counties of Northern Illinois. He was born
and raised in the Philippines, and was educated in his
native country (the Philippines), Italy (Rome), and the Unites States
(Emmitsburg, MD). He was ordained to the priesthood in
Rockford, IL on May 17, 2003.
His first assignment right
after ordination was St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in
Crystal Lake, IL as one of the Parochial Vicars
(Associate Pastor) and also as a high school teacher at
Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, IL
where he taught Christian Morality, Church History and
Introduction to the Catholic Faith.
In the summer of 2006, the
Most Reverend Thomas G. Doran, Bishop of Rockford,
reassigned Father as Parochial
Vicar at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in the
wonderful Chicago suburb of St. Charles, IL. He was also
given the task of teaching theology at St. Edward's
Catholic School.
On March 13, 2009, Bishop
Thomas G. Doran appointed Fr. Pajarillo as Parochial
Administrator of Saint Rita Catholic Church in
Aurora, IL.
