The origins of the
Pajarillos in Pangil, Laguna can be traced back to the
Late 1700's, when a lieutenant of the Spanish Civil
Guards was assigned to Pangil. He, as the family
tradition says, fell in love with a girl from the
barrio of Balian, married her, and together had three
boys. Every Pajarillo who is native of Pangil can trace
their origin from one of these three boys. Before being
assigned to Pangil, the lieutenant apparently had other
liaisons in his previous assignments. We all consider
all Pajarillos related and we look forward to knowing
and meeting these relatives from around the Philippines
and around the world.
