Though the Imposition of Hands and Prayer of Consecration, the Most Reverend Thomas George Doran, Bishop of Rockford, Illinois, ordained two men of the Mount, Rev. Cesar C. Pajarillo, Jr., a native of the Philippines, and Rev. Lorenzo Gonzales, a native of Mexico, to the Order of Deacons in an imposing ceremony held at the the centuries-old Church of Saint Joseph located in the historic town of Emmitsburg, Maryland. Rev. Cesar C. Pajarillo, Jr. had his degree in theology at the Pontifical Urbanian University in Rome and has just completed his Masters in Divinity at Mount Saint Mary's Seminary. After diaconal ordination, he will serve in Holy Angels Church in Aurora, Illinois until his Priestly Ordination in May 11, 2003.
